So, is ANYONE that is involved in managing chesapeake fisheries concerned about the millions of tons of bunker taken by a factory boat on the VA side of the Chesapeake? Isn't it plausible that the thin and sickly rockfish aren't getting enough to eat, and maybe that's why the crab harvest is so low (because they are being eaten by the rock)? Talk about not taking an ecosystem approach to fisheries management ... :mad:

far from true the larger the fish tend to have better genes and be more prolific spawners ie viable amount of eggs produced...taking the 40, 50 and 60lb females are the issue
