Planning on going out middle of next week. I'm assuming my best bet for more and larger bass would be to trailer the boat to a more northern spot in NJ. I usually do the Del bay. Any advice on general areas and boat ramps to use would be appreciated.

There appears to be a lot of bunker and bait outside of Bargegat Inlet. We had nonstop action on 10-15# blues earlier in the week. It sounds like more bass are being picked up and with the temps dropping it should "heat" up. We usually put in at the Bargegat ramp on the mainland and it is a quick shot to the inlet.

I dont know where you are coming from but the ramp at Atlantic Highlands is large and across the bay from sandy hook.

Do these ramps have some sort of dock where I can tie it up after launching and not get wet feet?

The ramp in barnegat does have a place to tie off so you would be fine there. If you need more info about the area just shoot me an email.
