Just read a very good report of limit of stripers up to 34" in the Swan Point area. Bigger fish were in deeper water up to 40'. Fished the afternoon working birds. Trolling bucktails with twister tails and spoons. Caught a limit by 4pm.

Head straight out of the harbor and start looking for birds. Swan Pt has been good, as are the humps north and west of Rock Hall. Bad weather today and tonite might change things up who knows, but it's been pretty decent fishing lately around there.

Went out of Rock Hall last Monday. Caught our limit of about 70 blues on bunker chunks out on one of the mounds. Also about a dozen stripers, but all throw backs (three of them 17 1/2 inches). Some of the blues were good sized, and fun to catch, but I'll trade 10 blues for one legal striper. Good luck.

We did pretty good on sunday. We went out of the harbor and headed straight to the bridge and love point, we found some birds and caught lots of blues. A couple of stripers, no keepers, but the blues were fun. The most productive lure was a small tony acetta. Started with storm swim baits but they kept getting bit in half. Also my buddy went out of bogles wharf and caught a bushel of crabs on sunday, all in traps in anywhere from 15 to 30 ft of water. Even he was suprised how good he did for this late in the year.

Sounds like it was a good day. Take heart about the stripers. I'm beginning to hear more about legal ones each week. I had a 19 incher on a Tony Aceta a couple of weeks ago. Bigger ones should be coming in soon. I hope to try the North East River later this week.
