sorry this is a little late but i havent had much time to get on here in a while
fished friday morning headed for ge inlet at daybreak and drifted the south part of the inlet with live eels and fresh bunker
withinh 5 min of our first drift we are hooked up and a couple minutes later we boat the 39 inch bass
next drift another keeper at 42 inches and a short 25in.
all fish hit the whole bunker would not touch the eels at all
fished for about 2 hours with no more hits so we ran south along the beach
about 2 miles south in 40' of water we see birds sitting on the water with good marks on the bottom
we drop a few jigs down and hook 4 bass and 3 blues
the bass were all in the 30 in range but we didnt measure as we already had our keepers
proceded to head south as we were taking the boat to cape may
didnt see much on the rest of the way south so we set up a troll for awhile before heading to bree zee lee nothing on the troll
saturday we got our spots and headed to the rips at sunrise
managed 2 bass at 35 and 44 in on the incoming and 4 more keepers on the outgoing
sunday we planned on fisheing but the wind was far worse than forecasted so we hung out and watched the birds
i hope this helps give an idea of what the fishing is starting to amount too
seems to me like we are gunna have a good season
