Mid Bay HOT

For your fellas trying in the Upper Bay, think hard about getting south.
Mouth of Eastern Bay and along Poplar Island and further south is loaded up with nice fish right now.

Yesterday couldn't get much cooking early in E Bay so headed south and absolutely slammed 'em for hours. Almost everything was of legal size. Smallest fish we saw were about 17 inches, but most in the mid 20s. Put a couple 30 inchers in the box too.

Multiple pods of breaking fish under working birds over a several mile stretch. On the way back in we stumbled on active fish in Eastern Bay and stopped to fight a few more.
We enjoyed some of the best fishing I've seen all year.

Thanks for the report Capt. Maybe that atrea will be fishable, been dying to get out but the coast is shnoty.

Where are a few place to launch down there Capt on the Eastern Side?
I know of Rock Hall, but haven't launched any further south then that.

I trailer to the Kent Narrows bridge and launch there. South out of the Narrows and thru Eastern Bay. There's another ramp in Dominion but I've never used it. Probably a bit shorter boat ride, but a longer trailer.

Gotta have a Queen Annes county sticker.
