went out by myself on friday (10/31).got a early start 10:00 amhttp://www.fishtheclassic.net/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif.ran thought cape may canal to the delaware bay.water stained and 55f,sunny,wind 5-10 kt,1-2' chop nice ride caught the outgoing tide went 12-16 on stripers.
sat (11-1)got a real early start 6:00 amhttp://www.fishtheclassic.net/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif.back to same spot.some people say never go to same place twice in a row.i never heard that before till i got back at dock.weather absolutly beautful water same color no wind god i miss it when its gone,in tshirts and jeans.hey Quick we get some nice november days also.well went 6-8
my son comes down for sunday yes another early start 5:30,well to say the least the bay was SPORTY.i think we should have stayed in bed and go out to a good breakfast.back to same spot NOOOO i decide to go a differant spot.nothing but dogg fish(small trash sharks)decide enough is enough went home and got a good breakfast.
monday out with my frend george.left dock at 7:30 went back to spot i was at fri/sat went 16-19,35"-44" was an awsome day.bay was like glass,60f,sunny and my frend the wind nowhere to be found
SOOOO off to same spot tues weather raw light rain but my frend the wind was not there.gee i really miss it.water colder 49f,stain water 1-2 waves spaced out nice.bite was different than other days,pickup chunk and run into tide 4-1 so had to figure that one out.went 12-19 36"-42".
let most of bigger fish go to fight another day.kept 9 of the stripers in the 38" range except on cow 42"35.10lb that was gut hooked.all fish fat and loaded with sea lice.
ps my camera battery went dead and charger was in philly.waiting for frends to email some pics so i hope i can post some up.
