Rips Report

Anyone hitting the rips friday a.m. ? How have they been? Out last week with no luck and real dirty water. Is the water any cleaner, especially after the 2 days of wind and rain? Do you think water will clean up by Fri a.m.? Any update would be great. Thanks:cool:

The conditions are not going to be nice there, you may want to re-think your plans. Besides the sea conditions, the water will be very dirty which doesnt help at all.

Don't know how fishing could have gotten that good in the last few stormy days on rips. Was out 6 hrs Sunday 11/2 on Rips and besides being bounced and blown, water was dirty and no fish caught in party of 12-14 on Sea Star II. Plenty of birds working bait fish, but nothing under them and only 1 maybe 2 strikes whole boat. Using eels, jigs, bucktails - everything but chunks.
