Im kind of new to striper fishing and know the water temp has alot to do with the fall run. Since the water has dropped alot, does this mean the run is coming to an end or is going to really slow down?

Fish can be caught All winter long, if you know where to look, there is no closed season for stripers in the ocean,..the season does close for a bit in the Bay and rivers though. Remember as the winter water temps drop your presentation needs to be slowed down to a crawl.

Absolutely not. They bite good to about 40 to 41 degrees, and expect the temps to moderate next week. The ocean temps are still 50 plus...the sharp drops you see are really only the top 6" of the water...the rest drops much, much slower...

The bass stay around longer than the blues. If there are still blues, and there are, then the bass should be here for weeks to come.

I thought they might stick around for awhile. Any bait in the surf or near jetties.
