I almost gave up but broke BI at 9am headed north and it was 4 hours non stop action and only 1 bluefish. caught 20 shorts and kept my limit . Wish I had someone else on the boat to reel some of the fish in:huh:Wasnt very hard as there was bait and fish all over. Be back at it tomorrow 6:30

Was out today also...what a day!! Right before we dropped the umbrellas, someone came over the radio and said he had just witness someone pull up 5 on 1 umbrella! I looked at my buddy and we both said "sounds like a fihsing tale to me!" Well, I dropped my rig and within 2 minutes was hooked up. Got along side the boat and I had a triple header...2 bass and 1 blue!! So, kudos to whoever that was with 5 bass!! Ended up with 17 bass, and 3 blues. 2 stayed in the box. They were very fat! The blues were big too!! 14lbs. Saw everyone out there hooking up. Seems like a great day was had by all!
Did anyone notice how much chatter was on the radio today? There didn't seem to be many shy people because when 1 person asked for report, a bunch of people came back and told them where to go, and what to use...right down to the color! Even heard a potential fight right before we left. :fighting: Sounded like someone in a blue boat was cutting through working birds and ruining the fishing.

Nice job King Fish. Saw you out there Friday and today bailing em by yourself. Great day on the water. Seems like every year right around Thanksgiving is the peak. We had lots of double and triple headers on the umbrella rigs. Friday we couldn't get away from the blues, today we only saw about 4. Hoping to get 3 more trips in next weekend then she comes out.

I'll be out Saturday if the weather lets me go. Joe it was all in the circles. The only way they would bite was while turning. We never got that last fish but a few more blues.
