Headed out Sat with the John Kinicki charter doing the only thing we could fishing up North off wildwood tight to the beach drifting baits and jigging the guys toughed it out all day but only ended up with one bass in the boat and lost one off the back before we could net it but we also released eight three to four pound fluke

Suday we headed out with the guys from Bryner Chevrolet we went down to the ripps to find very dirty water so after one quick drift we opted to run back up north were we had fish on Sat pulling up found a ton of boats and some bird play so we broke out the jigs and set some baits out with no action that way we started to troll some metal when another boat from the marina showed me a stretch he was using Thanks Pal we switched up and it was game on we ended up going eight for tweve all on the troll with the biggest going 44" thirty six pounds man what a difference a day makes

We were trolling by boats yesterday that were jigging and we were doubling up right next to them. People were looking at us like, "what the hell are those guys doing?!" You should have seen all these guys wasting time running and gunning and burning fuel when all you had to do was slow troll and you would catch. We also stayed out of the fleet and really were not into any birds when we caught.

Good report though.

Good job Joe. Way to get it done. Gotta do whatever it takes to put the crew on the meat. Didn't know you were fishing Sunday or I would have called you. I went out with Steve "Capt Chaos" London toggin'. We found the birds around 2 miles from the inlet and jigged 15-20 stripers from 24-40" in complete pandomonium with multi-hookups. Needless to say all were released since we were gone toggin'. Toggin' was good, slow bite but we had 40 tog and at least 10 over 5lbs. Then we went back lookin' for the birds but we were beyond 3 miles so it was C&R. No blue fish. Great day.
