I'm currently living in Ocean County and will soon be moving to Bergen County. Does anybody know any good striper fishing info on the area?

Can't help you with Stripers, but there's some great eel fishing off of the bulkheads at the Englewood boat basin.

I worked up in edgewater/ port imperial for 2 years. Never saw any fish activity. Talk to some people at the edgewater marina, they might know.
Bergen county is my least favorite place on the planet. Best of luck to you!

For stripers you'll have to put you time in on the piers in Hoboken and Jersey City. Its not slaughter fishing but you will get some. It's been awhile since I've fished up there but I read reports that they get them still.

I have seen people fishing on the pier/parking lot of the Charthouse in Weehawken (very close to the Lincoln Tunnel), and behind the Crabhouse (off River Road) in Edgewater.

To make you feel beter, I can't remember if it was 2 years ago or last year someone caught a 40lb plus fish in Jersey City near exchange place. Maybe I could find the link.

That's pretty funny. I work in Exchange Place several times a year (Rabobank and Mizuho Bank), and have eyed that pier up many times wondering what might be swimming in that area...............

Where in Bergen are you moving to?
And will you be fishing from the shore or from a boat/kayak?
