:thumbsup:Hey guys,
After a tough week with bad weather, we had Joe, Doug, Steve, Tom, and John aboard for a bass charter today aboard the ADAM BOMB III.
Despite a forecast of 5 to 10 knots southeast, we were greeted with a 10 to 15 knot southwest wind, which became more west during the flood tide. After some searching, we found some bass and Doug got us started with the first fish of the day on a bucktail. From there, we had a steady pick with a couple multiple hook-ups thrown in for good measure. The tide went slack, and while waiting for it to switch, we checked out another spot and found good life. Tons of marks on the machine, and we did get a couple to commit. Once the tide switched, we pulled a few more fish out of this area before we made way for the barn. By the time we were headed in, the wind was blowing a steady 15 to 20 and it had switched to southeast.
We had to work for them, but the guys did a great job of fishing hard and were rewarded with 14 bass for the morning, including a pair of keepers at 28.5" and 31", respectively. Not a bad day for mid December with a SUPER strong full moon tide, wind against tide conditions the entire time, and relatively dirty water. With the marks we saw on the machine, once the moon falls off it should be a MUGGING in progress!!!
