Sunday report

[FIRST LIGHT]

Started at the SI lump with only a pick of shorts. After a few hours heard some chatter about some fish being caught a mile or so off the beach. Moved into Corsons Inlet and started trolling north in 35-40 ft of water. Started a slow pick of keepers with the largest going 20 lbs. Mid-island put the sixth keeper in the box and called it a day. All fish ate the stretch plugs but one that took a spoon off the downrigger. Nice to see some larger fish moving in. Water was 46 degrees. Looking forward to a couple more trips before the boat comes out.

nice report and to hear that there are still fish that size around. Did you troll over the lumps or were in inshore further? I'm trying to get in a couple more trips out of GE, maybe Thurs or Sat. depending on wind.

The fish were spread out and did not seem to be on any structure. When we would see bait on the fishfinder we would get a bite or two. Look for the bait and good luck.
