Hey Dive....you'll get alot of opinions....but before you'll get em....guys'll probably ask...how big are you...where you plan on fishing....and then suggest to you....paddle each of your choices and make your decision!

I'll say this to you from just (6) trips out....in a "Bigmans" Kayak....I'm 5'-11" and 240 lbs. I bought a MalibuKayaks X-Factor.....big....heavy....and SLOW!!! I'm already looking to get a 2009 WildernessSystems Tarpon 160I for speed and the ability to go farthur in the search for fish. I didn't paddle my first Kayak...I don't regret it....cause it's STABLE......but with experience....I guess comes the need for speed!!! I was told it wouldn't be long before I upgraded:huh:

Hope this helps alittle....from a newbie at this kayaking thing!!!

Hey Work I Was looking at the X Factor. I got to demo one and it was a barge so I ruled it out. I am 6'3" and 250lbs I think Iwill stay away from th 15 foot one only because storing it will be a problem.
