Is it better with/against/cross current?

i always liked to troll with for whatever reason
just the way i was taught to do it back when i was a kid

Fish face into the current because...
1) easier to get oxygen
2) bait is more likely to flow with the current.

so generally (but certainly not always) with is better i believe

serpentine or zig-zag into current, and then with the current. When You hookup, then stay with what worked.
