The 5 AM alarm clock is always worth it to catch 12 striped bass, including one 28.01" keeper, on AVAs cast in front of the drift and steadily cranked back to the boat.
The biggest fish on the boat was at least twenty pounds, and the same lucky angler also caught a ten pound codfish, just in time for BACALA!
We had steady fishing through the end of the incoming, and then as the outgoing really started to move.
Capt. Bob kept us out over an extra hour because "it's so calm and relaxing out here." The Gambler's going to fishing for bass into the New Year.
