Brothers headed down S form Annapolis with Finsys son(Matt)and a nephew (Kevin)who flew in from Boston just for this trip
Yesterdays results
Matt 13
old Hat 12-and drove the boat the whole time
Kevin 5
Finsy 5
Matt decided it was time to go in when he went 1 up on OH as the afternoon ligfht was waning
OH used driviong the boat as his excuse for not besting our 16YU nephew Matt
Finsy was using a SJ spinning pool Cue as his excuse for his lackluster performance
Kevin probably cited jet lag and warmer climate along with no practice since Aug.
Largest was 41" in 6 feet water on a 6" BKD
OH was fishing Big Rubba(BKD 10 or 12") on lead head
They were at it this am when I called @ * with no luck
Fished all artificials-no eels as it was a jigging trip
Dinner last nite at Stingrays was a nonevent as it was out of food by the tim ethey got there.

what a great trip -wish I had a movie camera for all the ball bustin and so forth. A little advice -dont go down there with a ocean jiggin rod (had my st croix) and my fenwick (lighter) with me but loaned it to my nephew from boston on day 1 . day 2 I got my fenwick back and was back in the game to show the youngens the real deal. -------high risk , I couldnt blame the economy as old hat is a financial advisor as well . I ended up running the boat and drinkin a few adult bevereges which I enjoy more than catchin any how. kudos to old hat for putting the trip togeather;)

Sounds like a good time...sucks about Stingray's...just a heads up though, there is an option if they are closed...right in Cape Charles is this incredible little Irish Pub called Kelly's Gingernut Pub...I spend every weekend flounder fishing from May thru October out of Cherrystone...this place is a gem...good soups, good menu, good beer selection...and Gene (the owner) is just a friendly guy who likes to hear your fish stories over a game of darts...Stingray's is the classic area stop for all fisherman but Kelly's gives you another option for your family...keep your lines wet and tight!
