Marina for flats fishing

I am thinking of driving my boat up from Slaughter Beach for a few weeks in April during the spring C&R season on the flats. Any ideas where I can dock it. I may just try Summit Bridge Marina on the C&D canal since it is 5 minutes from my house and only around 10 miles to the flats. Any other suggestions. I do not trailer my boat. It is a 21' er

I like Charlestown Marina, very close to the fishing. There are others on the Elk river (basically where the canal meets the Elk)...forget the name but easy to get to (just south of chesepeake city on rt 213 make a right, road marked with a sign for the marina). Lots of options around North East, MD, I believe Anchor Marina has a high and dry if you are interested in that.

Try charlestownmarina.com. They are on the N.E. river with good access to the flats and the susky river

are you lookin to stay on the cecil county side? im from havre de grace and i keep mine in tydings park but that might be to far of a ride for you. its a nice marina tho, kept many a boats here.

You could also call the Wellwood Yacht Club which is next to Charlestown Marina. They own some slips which they rent out during the flats season.

In case you don't know. You can, thru the MD dept of natural resources, get a non-resident bay sport license. $50.00, sticker on the boat. covers anyone that goes out into the bay on your boat. I get one every year and just charge each guy a few bucks to cover it. Saves everyone some bucks and headaches. See ya on the flats.
