No Jetty Fishing Law??

I heard New Jersey was considering passing a law to make it illegal to fish from jetties. Does anyone know any details about this?

I had heard that last year but from what I understand it was in North Jersey, only in certain towns, I do not know if they put the law in or if any laws were passed & in what towns it is on page 11 in this forum about 2/3 down I do not know how to post the link

Didn't they just pass a law giving unrestricted access to the water even for marina owners? They charge for a beach access pass then limit you use of the beaches.

I think it was implied, or maybe not, here the other day that jetty access will be restricted to individuals who live in the municipality during certain off-season times of the year.

Or at least that was my take on the thread.
