Great 50-80 lb class offshore rod for the $ - have 6 of them. Look great too but can't speak to lighter rods. You can inspect all their rods personally at the boat shows - they are at most of them - maybe Phila this week.

I got a 9fter I like bucktailing the sodbanks with, sweet rod and the black and gold wraps look killer with a stradic on it. Can't help ya with the Chaos chunking rod though. A little too late, but they always have a booth at the AC boat show with some decent deals.

Phila boat show is returning to new Phila Expo Center off Oaks exit of route 422 (near King of Prussia) this weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (3/6-3/9). I have never been to new Expo Center and this is first year for the show since they closed the old expo center in Fort Washington a number of years ago.

i have a set of 8 of their p15-30's (7foot) that we have been using on our boat for 3 seasons now and am very happy. We fish them with Avet MXLs and 20 pound mono. They serve us very well for chunking/livelining bass, trolling plugs in the spring/fall and also for trolling FAs/Bluefin inshore. You can customize as far as reel seats, grips, guides and get your matching set monogrammed or personalized if you really want to go crazy.

We also have some light graphite rods from them which we use to throw poppers/metal lips i can check the model number when i get home. I am a big fan of their gear.

THey also make some nasty little jetheads that bluefin go crazy for.

Chaos makes a really nice rod and the one big thing I like is if you have a problem they stand behind it.

I have 6 of the Stand up spins STSP 6-6ft 15-50lb with the long forgrip. I use them for chunking stripers and love them. I put 6500b's on them for reels

I still have 2 15-30's and 2 30-50's with roller tips and aluminum butts that I used for trolling. They are good economy rods that will do the job for you. The hardware is pretty good and the blanks are OK. I would assume that the lighter rods that you would use for chunking or drifting would get the same review

They do not compare to the Bullseyes I have in similar weight by any means in fight with a big fish though... and if you can catch the Bullseye boys in a little bit of an "overstock" situation, it might be worth the email before you pick up the Chaos....

I have two PGF-15-30's that can be used for drifting/chunking stripers. I match them with my Penn 975's spooled with 40LB Power Pro. This set up can also be used to troll shad rigs or Stretch 25's or 30's.

All of my offshore rods are Chaos 15-30's or 30-50's. They have done the job for three years without any issues. You can call down to Chaos or e-mail them for help. They are a great outfit to deal with.
