Launched at Chestnut Neck from their ramp a little bit down the road. I think I was the first paid customer for the ramp this year.

Tried near the bridge and up the river from around 1:30 to 4:00pm mostly for a test cruise. Boat ran fine.

3 white perch - too small to bother keeping. And 3 catfish!! I thought they only bit with warmer water! Water temp on the boat was 39 - 43 degrees. At least we got some practice in. Used blood worms from Scotts B&T. Chestnut Neck was just getting the store going so call ahead.

Excellent. I'm still 3-4 weeks from getting in the water, but it is nice to hear about some local action getting started.................... :thumbsup:
