Saw an article about 3 years ago ? - NY newspaper - cant remember which - BUT - It was about Striper fishing off some pier/old loading dock--Picture of a fellow on a NY subway line standing and holding a Striper in 1 hand - the other hand holding on to a hand strap - on his way home to cook up his 30 plus inch striper dangling down his side. Never saw that before - but true ! Maybe someone on here will remember the details about the article.

Jamica bay. Good fishery. Caught a grand slam there about four years ago. 31 inch weakie, 28 inch bass and small blues.
Good kayak tourny there each year.
