Hey Guys, newbie to the forum and semi new to kayak fishing.... I was planning on hitting up the salt this weekend sometime and was wondering if anyone else wanted to head out? I usually stick around the Cape May area but will move around to find fish...

Ive had the itch for a couple of weeks now. I have to make a trip to CM this weekend anyway to pick up ladders and picks for a home project.
when do you plan on going. We need to keep a close eye on weather. Weather men says rain moving in for weekend. I don't know about you but my drysuit will keep me dry.
Just checked tides and friday night looks good. High around 9:30/10

You guys have me thinking........ I too have the itch to get out on the yak. Friday night might bbe do-able for me, I have to check with the wife to see if we have anything going on. I usually fish the OC/Somers Point area, but I'm willing to go anywhere.
I'll get back to ya when I find out what our weekend schedule is.

Friday looks ok......crappy the other nights......but i don't mind. I was probably going to try to get down either Saturday or Sunday as long as the wind isn't too bad. Waterbug...... probably same bridge I showed you. I hear it's good in cold water.

Sorry for not meeting up with you. Here's my crazy story. I've getting very little sleep all week long, yesterday was no exception. I actually loaded up the yak, drove all the way down the shore, then realized I was just way too tired to even try yakkin. I ended up fishing a bridge on foot for about 15 minutes then decided to go home.
Sleep deprivation makes you do some weird things.

Al you did not miss much. We marked a little bit of bait but all we got was the big Skunk. Not even a nibble.

can't be soon enough. Was good to get out with you guys anyway. Let me know when it warms up I'll be up for another trip. I'll be working some crazy hours the next few weeks. But I might be able to squeeze in some Mental Health Time.
