Fishing bloodworms on April 9th, 10th, 11th, on the Delaware River shoreline and got 4 stripers. All of them short (some very short) however I heard and saw many other keepers being caught while I was there. Unfortunately all I did was take pictures for the ppl who caught them and had to deal with 13lb catfish which I guess is still better than nothing. Get some stripers!

All in good fun :D
I just love how people get all pissed over spots. I post a report everytime I fish. Not exact spots but we all know fish move. With the cost of fishing these days, lets help each other out

I have cut and pasted part of an email I sent out to one of our quaility members the other day. I Hope for some of you who are still having a hard time understanding what the Bassbarn is trying to do with regards to Sport Burns will be a bit clearer.
We don't pretend to believe that members are disclosing "Secret" spots only known to a certain few. Most of us who have been fishing for a while know just about all the places that are successful. What we are attempting to do however is protect that area from being over run once the bite does heat up in a specific area. There are over 20,000 registered members on the Bassbarn, your guess is as good as mine on how many lurkers there are. You know where I am going with this. For example, this weekend's weather looks great. 20,000 plus people are looking at the barn as I type trying to determine where they are going to fish. If behind the airport is hot, then guess what. That place will be over run in a NY minute. Not to mention potential property damage, traffic, trash etc. I agree that some mods are over aggressive with the rule and I tend to agree with some of the things you are saying but, bottom line is there is nothing wrong with a general fishing report listing lower bay or whatever, along with water temp, depth, clarity, bait used, time of day, technique, etc. All of that stuff means much more to me then a specific location. Hope you kill tonight. Be Safe.
