Bluewater sportfishing

Had Pinky and his crew out today for Stripers and all I can say is fishing was tough!! After a 13 hr day we managed to pull in two fish both in the upper 20lb range. I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out why the bite was off and at the end of the day I came to this conclusion, If I could figure that out I would be a very rich man...:D For one thing there was zero tide..big problem
two there was a lot grass, three the water temps jumped up 5 degrees during the day and I think that may have had a little to do with it as well. The bait is there for them to eat I just feel the main school is on there way down. we shall see. I want to thank pinky and his crew for sticking it out for a super long day out there at least the weather was top notch.
