Fish The Drop Off

Had out Mike Kraemer and his Step-Father for some stripers. The fog had lifted and the came right back as we left the dock. It made it a long ride to graveling point. Once we got to the point and found a nice spot we had about 1 hour before the tide would turn. Hoping for a great incoming tide. Once the lines were in the water we had a nice size blue. Had a feeling that once the tide turn it would be game on and when the tide did turn it was dead. We did not even see a nibble for the rest of the day. Bait was checked and checked again it looked like we were feeding the crabs. Since it was a four hour trip we fished until noon and then headed to the barn with the wind picking up. Water temp was 65 degrees. It looks like this week we will start to check the ocean for bunker and start to live line them.
