Made the right turn S. & headed down the beach, didn't see much on top bunker wise so turned around & headed N. after "the call" came in. Set up on a large school just N. of the inlet & pulled 2 bass to 25lbs. Pretty much died at slack tide so we put out the spoons to no avail. Located a HUGE school further N., but didn't not manage to pull a bass off of it. I did lose a snag hook to a sh-tty knot tied by Harry's Army Navy....you gotta work on your uni to uni knot buddy....I'm tieing my own top shot next time. :D It's a beautiful site to see bunker schools as far as my eye could see.....lets hope it stays that way, I could see the gill netters sitting off the coast at the 3 mile mark. A local gill netter did drop his nets just S. of Asbury Park. Catch em up!

Thanks for the report. Is it possible that I saw you around 8 or so at the ramp in belmar? I stopped in a pathfinder and asked where you caught them.

Nah wasen't me, I always have a Yankees hat on when fishing. I would say I was filleting the fish by the Belmar Municipal ramp around 1:30-2PM.....didn't talk to anyone besides a woman who asked a bunch of questions about the catch....she said she didn't work for PETA or anything like that. :D
