Had two more in a couple hours this morning 28lb and 23lb. 55 to 60foot of water agian both on bunker spoons.

do you have to use downriggers to get the spoons to the bottom or can you just adjust your speed. I usually use umbrella rigs but this year i am going to use spoons, especially in the fall

I don't have/use downriggers, but def have heard it def helps...I tie drail weight directly to line then have about 10-15ft 40-60lb flurocarbon w/ snap direct to spoon. Dont; think they'll get to bottom just adjusting speed, but I could be wrong

I did same on Wed and got nada...thats the way its been, some days you just have their #...other day, get home and feels more like a boat ride then fishin! Wed a few guys were hollern all over the radio they got nice fish...rest of us just drivin around! Luckily, last tues...was my turn! Hope it's coming back my way soon....startin to feel like a sight seein tour blazin thru the water at 2 kts!!!

How heavy of a drail weight are you using for fishing that depth:confused:

Anywhere from 6-14oz depending on depth and conditions....do same w/ umbrella/shad rigs in the fall

What speed do you pull your spoons? I've yet to catch as bass on those spoons yet...

Just so you know, go as slow as you can that the poles will still pump. My GPS/fishfinder took a crap and we fished yesterday without one and I go my biggest fish to date 30lbs. with out even knowing my speed.:D

Thanks rocky I'm going to try tomorrow but with out a fishfinder I'll "have to be the fish";) My biggest before this one was the 29lber I caught with you.:D

Man my scale must be off my fish was 45" and FAT but my scale only said 30#'s on the nose. Now I need to go check my scale. DAMN!!!
