Went out to the Newt yesterday after work. Got on the water around 2:30pm and finished up around 8pm. My bro-in-law decided to join me for the adventure. Creature baits were the ticket for these post spawn puppies. The fish were just grabbing the bait and holding it. You lift up and they were there. Between the two of us we had a little over 20 fish. Fishdog texted me about half way threw the expedition and saw us beating up on Newt lol.
A few fish in between 2 and 2 1/2 lbs were caught, some cookie cutters and the best went 3.5lbs
