Started out of Rock Hall at 0630, headed south until we came up on approx 15 boats anchored, parked on the outside. Within 10 min another boat comes straight towards our bow, "do you have any extra 2 oz weights?" Sure, so i gave them 4 of them and they threw a pill bottle onto our boat with $4 in it, they didn't have to do that. The wife said it was her fault they forgot the weights. No comment. We got the chum line going and the group was now a fleet. Marked a lot of fish but no bites and no one around us had anything either. after about an hr and half it was time to move out to the new formed fleet in the middle. What clarity was fairly good considering all the rain we had. Parked inside the fleet and saw a few fish caught, but nothing of any size. Still no bites what is going on here? We had fresh(frozen elwye) fillets and chunks, worm, even tried jigging, nothing. moved to another spot had a few bites and a 20 inch in the box, so whats is the trick out here, fresh not fresh enough? decided to troll a little, started up and heard tap tap tap, hmmm, then thump thump thump, great, a week before tourney. we crawled back into harbor. We need a cold beer. Dad pulled valve cover and the nut on rocker was almost completely off the thead. :D tightened up and we're back in business. Could have been alot worse.
TG we may have been in the canoe for the tourney.

Certainly has been tough above the bridge. Jigging a few off the pilings and hitting a small school now and then in my travels, but overall it's just been slow out of Rock Hall.
