Family trip on the Clean Sweep!!

Today I took the family for their first ever trip. I have had my daughter out a few times before, but never the wife and youngest son. Talking to Timmy on the Sweep he told me of a trip he caters to families and kids. We booked it a while ago and today was the day. Within minutes of a short ride it was on. In fact it never really stopped. My daughter(10) neice (13) and son(3) all caught their first and multiple bass. Even the wife got in the action. In all we must have caught 24-30 bass in less than 3 hrs!!! We kept 4 for the table releasing a keeper and tons of 24-27.5 inch bass. This trip was fun, affordable and Timmy kept them interested and even took them on a dolphin watch at the end of the trip. I would HIGHLY recommend this trip for families or kids. Sweeet report and great pics!!!!!! Fish'n with the family can be a blast epecially when they are catching fish. Great to see you got the girls and little guy hooked on fishing. Awesome to see that Timmy put the family on fish and ended the trip with dolphins.

Thanks man! It was very rewarding as a Dad to see my kids so happy with something hopefully we can do together for a long time. here is one more.

Nice report, and great pics. It's always great to see a family enjoying a day out on the water, and getting kids hooked on fishing keeps them out of trouble, I found with mine.

I'm certainly glad the trip was affordable, because judgiung from the smiles and happy faces I see in the pics I don't think you're going to be fishing alone much anymore, LOL, and you're going to be making that trip often. Congrats on a great catch again, and for getting the wife and kids involved.

Thanks guys, The smiles do say it all. Darrin Timmy was like a kid. He made sure they where having fun and helped out tremendously. It will be a few years for a tuna trip, but next year I will have several of these style trips booked. I may even do it again in two weeks. To say the kids had fun would be an understatement!!

Congrats on a great trip w/the family. You're right the smiles do say it all! I tell alot of my customers that Capt. Timmy is great w/the kids for family fishing trips; I've seen him in action during one of these . . . AMAZING teacher.

Looks like you and your tribe had a pretty good day. I'm going to try taking my monsters next tuesday. We have been doing this trip for a couple years and on a good day > 70 fish during the tide is not uncommon. You certainly don't get worn out from the ride.
