I have been using the ramp closest to my house in Surf City but want to get out faster to save some time. I have checked out the barnegat light ramp twice and it was flooded into the steets. Does this always happen with the high tide there?

No, because of all the rain lately the flood tide has been well above normal.

no, the parking lot is a little lower than the top of the ramp. makes it look worse , after a heavy rain the water hangs there. its a great ramp to launch from. nice and long, gradual grade ,plenty of room to tie up

Only on a very high tide. Most street flooding is probably from rain

The ramp is pretty good

Never saw it that bad. Only on full moon tides have I seen it really high, but I was always able to use it. I have a float on trailer at that.

You do not want to use that ramp at a very low a very high tide. They have a pipe down the back so no one goes off the end. The problem is that it is 2 feet from the end and you loose a lot of ramp. At high tide the ramp does not have enough pitch and you almost always get your socks wet and your truck wet. Beach haven ramp is even worse although fine at low tide, just too shallow to get in to it. Surf City is a great ramp, I do not like how they did the docks but it is a great ramp.

No it's a continetal it's what I see under most contender's. But it's a "float on"type of trailer.
