LOL' Those little predators will take a lure over half of thier own size. Makes you wonder how they get the hooks in thier mouth.

we were nailing stipers on the maurice river the other day, ended up with 23 in about an hour. had a few close to 25'' :D
they were hitting hard on a chartreuse swim shad run fast topwater.

I agree, in the pic it does appear as such, but I am 100% pos it was a striper!

Every River and Tributary that connects to the DB is loaded with resident stripers.
I wish the state would change the regulations in the summer to 2 at 18.
The perch, weakies and crabs might stand a chance to survive as fingerlings.

On saturday my wife and I were out perch fishing on the river and I found a nice school of perch. After a while those perch turned into stripers and we boated about 12 or so in about 40 minutes. We had a few that were TINY and the biggest went about 16". She never caught one before, so she had a blast with the little buggers.
