I am gonna be in LBI over the July 4th weekend, just after Surf City to be exact. We are looking for an inshore half day charter for Saturday for 4 people, possibly 6. Any recommendations on who to contact?

Fish Trap - Capt. Bob 609-706-8557 He will put you on fish if he is available, Bob is usually booked well in advance.

For LBI, in my opinion, the best charter capt is Capt Mike on the
Lucky Stripes. He will put you on big fish.

Capt. Mike on the Lucky Stripes is the only way to go for an inshore charter in the LBI area. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time and money anywhere else!

I agree, 4 guys on a 21 foot boat would be tight. Mike has a 21ft
Regulator center console, we had fished 3 plus Capt Mike before with
no problems. Also depends on the bass and bait, if all around the boat,
can fish different spots, if on one side, would be kind of tight.
I would suggest calling Mike and seeing what he thinks, he will be
honest, would not mislead you to get the charter.

I thought LBI was over for the bass season, last week Mike nailed two
fourty and two fifty pounders in a day.

we'd be available for the late afternoon...maybe even watch fireworks from the boat after fishing..

if you're interested let me know.

Seh34, thanks for the offer. But having your read your reports on here for a few years now if I ever charter you there is only one place we are going. And it surely is not to watch fireworks. Out to the deep and catching big fish.
