hey mike! oh yeah shes back with no visable scars. I'm going to contact the wetlands preserve to see if they want to do any research on these guys. I counted 10 bass total last night.

One more week of this baseball tournament and then I'll be down in Avalon full time thru Labor Day. I have some fishing to catch up on.

sure anytime. I have lots of people stopping to see the bass these days. A few nights back we were drinking a few beers bsing and this entire group came back from getting skunked in the inlet. then they walk by and see six bass 2 feet away from them. I think I counted about 6 f bombs dropped;). I'm not going to throw anymore hooks at these residents though. We've been hammering them off the sods pretty good every day so i figured i'd give them a refuge. Bring the kids to check em out i'll chunk some bellies or a bunker and get them going nuts for them.:thumbsup:

yup. they don't even let the bait build up anymore. The amazing thing is that nothing phases these fish. I must have had 10 people come by to see the bass last night walking loudly to my dock, and basically walking over where they hide and they would not break pattern. I was eye to eye within six inches of a keepers face last night and it did not even phase the fish.I pulled the light up out of the water and they stayed and waited for me to drop it back down and went right back into there stalking patterns. Very weird. Goes against everything I have read about these spooky fish. Hopefully I'll have some better video equipment soon. You can't really see the 6 bass sitting under the ones coming up top.

Hey Matt I missed you this weekend, it was the wife's first time down this year and the kids as well so as soon as the sun set the wife and kids wanted to either goto the boardwalk or shopping in town, It was killing me being only a few blocks away knowing you guys were watching stripers swimming around!, but at least i got some springer's ice cream:thumbsup:,
i'll be down in 2 weeks, and also most of august, I'll bring the yeungling!
