THE BAY HAD ICE FROM THE FORT ON DOWN. HAD SOME SMALL OPEN WATER HOLES HERE AND THERE.THE ICE WAS MOVING IN THE MAURICE RIVER.IN COMING TIDE.

Ain't nothing like last year, though. Last year, 1/23/03, East Point, solid ice out to the horizon...
I doubt it'll get that way this year. It hasn't been cold enough for long enough. Yet.... :D
And when will be the next time we see this?
A 3 foot snow "cliff" at the high tide line on the beach. Feb '03.
