joe,
purchased a 1650 last spring. very happy with during the first year. cmap card is good, but only scales down to 1 nm in bay due to the 80,000 : 1 scale of mapping used. this minor glitch is forgotten about after using the fish finder. works all the time at all speeds and can be counted on for accurate readings.

joe,

good luck with the 1650. bought one last spring with cmap card. only complaint - cmap card only scales down to 1 nm in bay due to 80,000 : 1 charts scanning. not quite as good as garmin. 1 mile turned out to be good enough and was soon forgotten after using the fish finder. works at all speeds and can be counted on to find fish. awsome.

I have the NA 324 Superwide from Sandy Hook to
Wilmington NC. It works out to the Canyons as
well as has both Del Bay and the Chesepeake.
In fact it was so detailed I was able to follow
the channel from Ocena City past the Power Plant
and follow the channel up to Holtz's Boat Yard
which is not intercoastal but a privately marked channel. The detaisl of the dreek were right on the money. Del Bay details could have been better but we fished the South Jersey Striper
Tournament and used the C-map chart.
