No 11" but got a nice bushel of quality crabs!:D Very slow pick. Our best run was 7 crabs on 30 traps. Ended w/ 6 dozen crabs, all between 6"-7-3/4". Depth 5-7', necks, traps. Absolutely beautifl day on the river!

Yes, I peel the shells off and the aprons before cooking. i also hose out all the gunk and the "devil fingers' before as well.
i have a steamer, which I put 1 can of beer, 1/2 cup vinegar, and 4 cups water in. bring to boil. put crabs in steamer basket, cover each layer of crabs in Old Bay, stack til steamer is full. cook 'em til nice and red, about twenty minutes for a full steamer basket..

I clean them first also. I cook mine in a big sautee pan with Beer, Butter and Old Bay. I cook mine in batches as we are eating them.

Miller Time,
You can launch in the Eastern Neck Wildlife refuge. Just make a left at the traffic light as you head into Rock Hall. Follow that road into the refuge. Go left at the "Y" and ramp is about 1/2 mile from there. Nice ramp and plenty of parking. Lots of area to explore with a small boat.

i believe i'm gona miss it agian this season, just not enuff time nowa days,
when we cook em we no longer cook large numbers in the big pot, reason being bottom ones end up over cooked, just enuff to cover bottom of pot 6 or 8 five min tops, we pre clean & do red & white seasonings
now the best ive ever had was indepths recp @ wing dings party back in the day:D
