We headed out yesterday at 7am with Paul, Ryan, and Dave for an all day marathon!! Headed out CM inlet to be greeted with a 25knot NW. Instead of getting beat up in the rips(and the wind forecast to lay down in the afternoon) the guys decided to go trolling. We trolled the beach, getting 3 nice blues around 12-15 pounds and lost a few more. We then switched gears and sat on a wreck for awhile and the guys caught tog until their arms couldn't take it anymore!!

Around 3:30 we headed down to the rips to find the wind starting to die out and the tide just starting to move with only a few visible rip lines. We worked the lines with everything we had to no avail. At 5:30 we called it a day, back at the dock at 6. The guys were wooped but di dhave some blues and toggies to take home for dinner.

We were also prepared to head up the bay as I had 24 fresh bunker with me as well, but talked to a few boats that didn't do much on the chunk.

We are wide open this weekend again for marathon fishing!!! Give me a call if you are interested.

Its kind of funny.....I actually had that one, after I put in your numbers!!!:D I went there first, but a boat was already on it:thumbsdown: and they were bailing em!! Sometimes you can get 2 on that one, but they were right in the middle and I didn't wanna crowd em. We did good though where we went:thumbsup:

I appreciate the info, thanks for the call:thumbsup:

Dave I guess you are the guy I talked to on the radio yesterday. DonziMike. We never did get around the point to give chunking a try. I was hoping that wind would drop out sooner. We only had one fish hooked up on the troll. That was short lived. I think I saw you on a wreck around 1:30ish. We went past you about a mile south and had nonstop action on tog to around 4lbs. We called it a day around 3:30. Good talking to you on the radio yesterday. I did see a nice 9 1/2 pounder caught.

Awesome Mike! Yup...we never made the chunk either, but I don't think we missed anything. Our troll action was pretty good. There were alot of gannets right off the beach, but they were all looking just like we were! We did good on that piece, once the guys got the hang of setting the hook!! Glad I had 6 doz greenies with me!
