To All,
I know it's been awhile but, I finally got my first striper trip in. Now I know it wasn't on the bay but the big d flows into it. Went out of Racoon Creek made a right headed towards the Commo bridge. We weren't there 10 minutes caught a 6# cattie. Well luck would have my first striper of the year a 15in. Boy let me tell you it felt good catching that first striper. Next I caught about a 22in. The guy I was with said we were going to move because he didn't even get it hit. Well it was the top of the tide anyway. Now   :D we head down to the DOD . When we were getting close it looked like their wasn't many boats but as we got closer it was like a parking lot. We waited for the tide to turn. When the stripers started hit pretty good. Finally Brian got his first fish of the day a perch. Brian ended up with one striper and two perch. I ended up with eight, six perch and one fatcat. All in all it just felt good being on the water again. It wouldn't have matter if we didn't get any fish. It's nice that we did but being on the water again well it just ain't like it. AHHHHHHH to the bay Saturday!!!!!!!!!! May have a remembance for Lunker Hunter that day will keep you posted?????????
