Never fished for drum on jersey side before, only on the Del. side about 10 years ago when I worked on the BUGS AHOY out of Cape May. Any help with some general locations would be greatly appreciated!! I'm not lookin for exact numbers just general areas. I'll do the work lookin for the fish once I get in the vicinity. Thanks guys.

mayhem, Capt. Al was a good captain fished with him every fall for stripers.he always seemed to find the fish for you and really knew the rips.I learned alot from him.check out the spots that twin d's said but also the run across the bay is not far

Jeff,
I learned almost I know about saltwater fishing from Al. From croakers to yellow fins he was one awesome fisherman. Thanks for the info guys!!
I fish in an 18.5 SCOUT so the night run is a bit of a stretch but early morning might not be bad.

Mayhem,
Don't discount the late afternoon bite (3:00-7:00). Also, I have had a lot of luck at Miah Maul light (NW side).
