Cloudy skies 50% chance bass

It was cloudy with air temp at 46 Deg., not sure of the water temp but it was a bit chilly. The water level was really high im guessing from all the melt off from snow and rain. It made some spots unfishable. We were at the lake for about an hour. I caught my first bass on a Salty Plus Zoom green pumpkin with chart tail on the sidelines. While my friend(in the pic)caught his on a Storm WildEye Live Sunfish swimbait 1/4oz. Both bass were nice cookie cutters, like little footballs :D.

Nice, thanks for the report. Were you in NJ or PA?

I was out a 2 days ago for a bit, water temp was 50° (shallow lake) and was skunked. I must catch a march bass! :cool:

Thanks apex :D. Im from South Jersey. So far in march im doing ok, a lot better than last season :). Yes fisherx i was at newton the other day, i caught a small bass but nothing more than that.
