Fished Hopewell lake Thurs. tried plugs various lures,plastics nada but what a beautiful day to float around under a nice warm sun not having to worry about digging out again after a blizzard. Saw a small black car with a bassbarn sticker parked near the ramp.

Went down this past Saturday to take the kids out on a boat ride. Did bring the fishfinder. Marked a ton of fish at the 15 foot mark in the middle of the lake, with a total absence of cover. Didn't bring a rod but it was nice to see the fish are around. Was shocked though, as to the fact that in the middle there was like nothing in respect to cover. You would think they would have left stumps and rubble around. Either way saw a bunch of folks fishing for crappie. Will try there for some Muskies this Spring on the troll.
