Is there an actual channel to get in and out of Joes? I keep coming in near low tide and can't figure out how to come in from the bay. coming in from the bay do you stay way to the left? I actually hit some sand and hit it in neutral and trimmed it up and didn't take in any sand. I was to the right of the no wake buoy coming in from the bay at the time so I keep moving over to the left but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I keep running over 2ft of water and I'm waiting to get beached. Which side of the no wake buoy do you run? Is it close to the no wake buoy? thanks for any help in advance.

You want to stay away from the point directly across from the ramp where the osprey nest is.The bank across from Joe's is the shoal on Low.Plenty of water on the marina side, the channel is usually marked to the mouth of nantuxtent, probably early yet.

If you line up Joe's with 34 you will pretty much have the channel IMHO.To the left of the no wake coming in last fall.

on the way in stay to the left of the bouy...i don't think that's a no wake bouy...shallow water bouy:thumbsup: the chanel markers aren't in yet so watch your depth finder:wave:

Where do you start no wake on the way back in? In front of Joes? I'm pretty sure it said no wake, I'm probably heading out in the morning to try and beat the front so thanks for the info. What's the lowest you usually see coming back in?

the no wake bouy is about 100 yards from joe's marina. the lowest i have seen at dead low in the channel is about 5-6'. when you are heading out it is pretty much due west. keep at it you'll get it:thumbsup:
