Well guys here we go again. I found out today that the fishermans beach is not a done deal and at least 2 residents organizations are going to oppose anything we do to try and get that beach open. They are going to be as nasty and loud as needed and they are ORGANIZED!! They have already been in toutch with their 3rd ward councilman and let him know in no uncertain terms that they want that beach left closed to all 4wd traffic. Just to show you how nuts they are,a statement was made that they would "have their grandchildren lay across the road to block traffic". I guess that's what you would call a sacrificial Lamb. Once again we are asking for your support and speak up for our side.I need all Brigantine residents to contact 3rd ward councilman Sam Storino and let him know that we will support him as fishermen for a vote to open that beach. Also we need as many Barners as possible to go to brigantinebeachnj.com and send the Mayor and ALL COUNCILMEN e-mails from concerned fishermen. We got their attention before and I know we can do it again. I got a call from Councilman Bob Solari ,who supports us without reservations, letting me know just what is going on. We will have people at all future meetings and will let you know when things finially come for a vote so you all can be there. Thanks again for your support. Phil

Reelquick, I think it would have been easier if we wanted to use the beach in question as a nucular test site instead of a fishing beach. Phil
