Any word on when there going to start putting out reels?.....I'm hearing mid march...anyone else heard n e thing?

yea i just read that. I think they should give us some kind of idea as to when they are planning on putting more reels out.

VAN STAAL UPDATE

NEW PRODUCT IS ON ITS WAY...

To everyone who has been waiting - thanks for your patience. New product is being developed and you will see it back at your favorite dealer this year. Here in Tulsa, Oklahoma, we have purchased new machines, acquired raw materials and are setting up production and final assembly work stations.

We are set to reintroduce all models of the Van Staal spinning reels, C-Vex fly reels and the popular fishing pliers - expect to see them this summer and fall. Between now and then we will be building and testing them, making sure they meet or exceed the quality and use requirements expected by Van Staal fishermen.

Since last October, service and warranty work has been done in Tulsa. We have trained technicians who take much pride in what they do to keep your reels maintained. Over 300 follow-up phone calls have been made to owners of reels they've serviced, confirming that you're satisfied with our work and turn-around time. We know this is important. We continue to evaluate all of our programs to make sure we're offering the attention and service you expect from Van Staal.

not soon enough is right......just got a new lamiglass but haven't had a reel for it since decemeber.....i would really like one for the spring but i have a feeling that's not going to happen......

I was also on the Phone yesterday with the
Service Mgr.for VanStaal and was told that
the NEW Line of VS Reels will hit the Market
in either August or September this year.......

Hopefully for the fall run! I plan on spending some time in Montauk this fall.
