I went out last year fishing the Longport Jetty (bay side) used squid minnow on a top & bottom rig did real good for the first time. Now for Q&A When using Blood worms for Winter Flounder,Stripers how much worm do you put on the hook? And what size hook do you use for each fish???????? :confused:

For stripers, use a whole worm or at least cover your whole hook.
For winter flounder, smaller pieces are used along with some form of chum.

For winter flounder I use a #4 of #6 hook with a two or three inch long piece of worm, threaded onto the hook. For stripers I rig a whole worm or sometimes two worms if they are small on a 2/0 circle hook.
