I was down there last week and landed a 30 in, 8.75 lb. striper. But it was the only bite I got in 3 days. The water is still a little cold.

Tog might be there...But I'm goin' for ole linesides... I'll be down tomorrow thru Sunday... Look for the guy w/ the fly rod on the jetties..

geek have you seen any of the asians there. usually they are there fishing for tog and catching them.
were you using bloods when you caught the one? and what was the tide like?

no asians and I was at both the convent jetty and stites and alexander. I caught my fish on the first hour of the incoming tide. On a bucktail, green with pink rubber. I tried bloodworms but they weren't the best quality. If the weather isn't awful I'll see you down there this weekend. Go to stripercam.com my picture is in there for photos 2004.

my easter break is comming up so i plan on spending some quality time down there.

i saw a post that a capt is running a cheep tog trip on Fri might check that out if not i plan on being on the rocks. the boat isnt quite ready yet.
they (the fish) have got to be there. it is just a matter of will they eat my bait.

I fished the big d on sunday near phila airport and got perched-like to cast net them and stick em on a hook- this way the perch will get the message-at almost a buck-a-pop my bloods are not to be messed with!

Didn't get blown off the jetty, but didn't exactly get to fish the side I wanted to.. It was impossible to fish the north sides.

Working this weekend... Gonna give it a go 4/15-19.

Yo guys, there were rocks on the ground where I was standing, down by the airport there were some fish and I"m not talking perch. Usually at this time of night, the mouse in one hand and scotch on the rocks in the other.
