Decided the time has come to buy a kayak for morning/ evening fishing off the shore. any advice on kinds, riggin it up, etc... looking for a two person- we're in the pp to seaside area. anything would be helpful. thanks guys...

It pains me to do this, but in your area Jersey Paddler, Brick, NJ for the biggest selection/accessories.

Bob Kislin's on the causeway going in to the Seasides, see this week's Fisherman Magazine for ad. Excellent price on the Hobie Outback pedal power yak's.

Round the Trenton area, Harry's A/N in Robbinsville, NJ 609-585-5450, ask for Tom or Eric C. (not me) :D They are having a yak sale right now. Mention the BassBarn.com and this other Eric G. guy and see what deal you can get. ;)

jjsax, We have been selling fishing yaks for 15 years . And tandemsare not the best choice if for only one reason...who is gonna sit in the back seat and risk a hook in the face coming from the front persons backcast. If you are a big guy beware not all tandems truly are tandem wheight capacity.
