Hey guys, I am planning on fishing behind wildwood this weekend. I really havent been out much this summer and would really just like to hook a few fish, not worried about keepers or anything. What style of fishing or species should I target this time of year? I know the back bays are slow during the dog days of summer. Any advice would be appreciated

Stop and see Fred at No Bones bait and tackle and get yourself a couple Float rigs and some minnows and fish the Ocean front preferably around some of the finger jetties and you should be able to get some Fluke including some nice keepers.

Thanks man. I haven't taken the kayak out front yet, but it might be worth a try.

the stripers are around at 1st and last light on top water plugs (smack it jr. BLACK) . the fluke are there but few keepers if worked over hard but action is to be had .your other option is to go out inlet cm s jetty and catch triggers an tog on the outside of rocks be very careful with boat traffic or strong tides .will be out over the weekend on my just fixed mercury opti pos.
